Museums are treasure vaults of art, interesting history, technology, quirky stuff… And when you know what you are looking at, when you understand the meaning and importance of exhibits, you can learn so much!

I travel and I always visit museums, aware that marketing plays a huge role in their popularity. There are a few beautiful art museums in Zagreb that should certainly be more popular. Back in 2022, I decided to bring more people into one of these museums, tell them all the crazy, fun, unexpected stories behind the artwork and impress them! To make that experience exceptional, I would take my fellow citizens for a fancy glass of wine or a cup of tea in a classy hotel lounge nearby. I called it Classy Zagreb - Museum and Wine. The reviews after the tours ranged from “It never crossed my mind these places are so magncifent” to “I feel like I am in Vienna or Paris”. Mission successful.

You can be impressed by Zagreb too. Especially if you like art, history and stylish, sophisticated spaces. I believe that human creativity should be praised in all forms. Especially now when AI is taking over. And sometimes the value of displayed pieces in museums is not obvious at first sight. Sometimes, amazing spots are not advertised the usual way. Sometimes, you might not have enough time to do your research before traveling to a city. That’s where a tour guide can provide a valuable interpretation that will save your time and expand your appreciation for a city and its artistic or historical hidden gems.
